Good algae eater with Shrimp?

I had some otocinclus with ghost shrimp and folks got along fine. But I just got the coolest snail from severum mama -- a tyrolmelenia (not sure I spelled that right...) poso orange. He eats the algae and the shrimp take rides on his shell!
