green poo

my goldfish have started pooing green is this normal

Generally whatever color goes in looks the same coming out, so what are you feeding them?

Are they or were they in greenwater? They can actually eat greenwater (looks bad to us but us great for them) and this can turn their poop green. So can foods with artificial colors.

eating plants = green poop. I give my gold fish the trimming from my planted tank. he's a pig

Like everyone else said, what goes in, will come out. Are you feeding peas (shelled)? That'll do it for sure lol.

As long as it's not white or stringy, I'd say you OK.
