So after about a week and a half with a 15% change, willow branches, and purchase of a water wisteria plant and moss ball, the water has cleared up the green for the most part. Tank is just a little cloudy right now though.

I have the same green tank... I did the Black Out and worked like a charm(3 days).

It came back and did the Black Out again but this time it didn't work.

What a pain....

I had read about it a few times BUT it is good to know it actually works!

Trying Duck Weed,,, already a pain because I have a NanoCube. Intake is at the top. Need I say more?
Lol

Try willow shoots like gotgutz did. The stems shouldn't interfere with your intake. When i did it i used weeping willow. 2 bundles of it about 6" in diameter and it cleared up my 55gal. in 3days. 5-6 bundles worked on my one pond in less than a week and it was a nasty pea soup.

Duck weed didn't work, I fact it lowered my PH killing 2 of my Rams... Frig
