I've got a 2 and a half year old Jack Dempsey in a 125 that has a couple strange growths on the side of his face. Water parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and 40 nitrate. I've just noticed them in the last week. No new fish have been added to the tank in about 6 months. Any idea what this is?
