GRRRR! peacock fail!

my peacock is 4.5 inches, but hadnt been eating for ages. i was proper worried. what do i notice 15 mins ago? its got a few fry in there! developed ones! i thought it was male!
i go to catch it. but this log thing i have has CAVES in its ROOTS that i cant access!!! after loads of waiting/ chasing the fish is caught... gasping and found to have NO fry.
swallowed them all :(
