Not sure what is going on with my hammer head coral. He's been doing great, then all of sudden he is slowing dying.I have asked two LFS and both didn't know. One did recommend a iodine dip which I have done. I can't tell if it is working . There is no fish in this tank except a sexy shrimp, snails, live rock, hermit crabs and copepods.
Water levels are excellent.
Not sure what else to say! Just need some help figuring out what I am doing wrong. Thanks!

Hermit crabs can bother lps corals. Iodine is pretty harsh you might should check out coral rx. I don't see any brown jelly disease in the pic but that is something that could be causing it to die back.

Can you provide some numbers?
Salinity, temp, nitrate, alk, calcium
What kind of lighting do you have?
Also, since you don't have any fish (corals feed off the fish waste), what do you do to feed it?
