So I recently got an elephantnose (I have multiple posts up right now), and I know they can be difficult to feed if they don't get hand-fed. Does anyone know how to train a fish to accept food from the hand?

Hi, I have an elephant nose I've had him for over 3yrs. I've been pretty lucky with my guy he's ate straight from my hand since I got him without any issues, I just sit my hand in the water with bloodworm and he comes to me.
Make sure you feed him with the light's out and give him time as they can be very nervous fish. He'll soon learn to come to you. If he doesn't you can always start with target feeding him, try using a turkey baster and aim where he hides.
They're smart fish so it will soon pick up when it's time to eat. Good luck :)
