Happy little butterfly

I was just wondering if anyone else here is used to keeping butterfly nishiki koi in an outdoor water garden? I love butterflies, but they are so hard to find and a bit tempermantal. (Has anyone else noticed this?)

I would love to find a doitsu variety, in silver or gold or even a mongrel. Does anyone know of a place online to order them?

Finally, any advice as to how butterflies differ from regulars would be great. My butterflies just don't seem as happy as my plain nishiki koi. They stall smaller longer and don't join the feeding frenzies.

I don't know the variety but I got some really nice butterfly koi (lots of gold w/black) at Nelsons Water Gardens (www.nelsonwatergardens.com) You can phone orders in, I don't know if they ship fish. You can also check out www.lilypons.com they have online fish ordering, including butterfly koi.
