Help! 30Gallon Gone Wrong!

As long as the ammonia is above .25, I would be doing water changes. Try 30% water changes to get that ammonia down! pH does affect how the ammonia affects the fish also--if I can remember later, I will scan in my pH/ammonia card. It's all very complex when dealing with a living cycle.

Ok, yet ANOTHER question!.. ok, if I cycle until the ammonia levels decrease, should I just add ordinary tap water? or continue treating it with the Aqua Plus?

Always add a dechlorinator when using tap water.
