The net one grows algae and is harder to wash but it is better.

It shouldn't if your water parameters are good. You can always bleach it between uses....

It stayed in for a long time. I had birth after birth of fry. I couldn't take it out for a while.

Yeah I had dried flakes falling off of it.

By the way I have a little bit of algae growing in little specks in that tank. Will aquarium salt safe for plecos, guppies and swordtails.

They can go back in the tank once they are big enough to where they will not fit in one of the other fishes mouth.

Careful not to let the female fry get pregnant too soon. I hear that she will birth too soon, her fry can be deformed, or kill her.

Maybe a week or more. If she starts looking really square in the belly then she is really close.

Since you know about babies. I got a pregnant ghost shrimp from pet smart. Any idea when she's due she's having contractions. Been having those for almost a week
