I had a death today, and shortly after removing the dead fish, my boeseami rainbow's blue color just POPPED! It's like so blue, its almost black. It changed in like 10 minutes and it changes from lighter to darker every couple of minutes. I'm doing a water change now. I don't know if this is good (I've been waiting for him to turn blue) or bad!!

They change colors when they get excited for what ever reason. Mine get very dark blue when I do water changes or even when I feed. Unless the rainbow goes pale (loses color), I wouldn't worry about it.
