Help! Goldfish with black scales

We have a gold fish that is recovering from ich and now it's scales are turning black on the edges. Is this normal and do we need to medicate? Any advice will help. Thanks guys.

How did you treat the ich? What are the water parameters? What size tank and what other inhabitants? It could be something simple like ammonia burns. Best treatment for that is a proper sized tank with good water.
