HELP! How do I lower calcium.

Welcome! Do you have any tap water and tank chemistry readings like ph at all? Here I’ve done better with harder water for mollies so tend to just keep cleaning off (generally only needed every few months). Mixing with RO or bottled water would help but tbh off the top of my head I can’t think of something that will lower calcium (apart from plants) readily and not sure on the benefit for your molly.

Do you have snails ?
My guess is your 'barnacles ' are nerite snail eggs ? Barnacles don't grow in fresh water.
I would not lower water hardness for molly or many other live bearers...
They like 'harder' water...
