I recently acquired this eel. All I was told is that he's a freshwater eel, he eats small fish and crustaceans, and that he was called an "anguilla eel".
I've been doing research and haven't been able to identify his species which means I don't know if I'm giving him the care he needs.
He's approximately 7-10 inches long and his tail fin is rounded. We haven't seen him do anything "aggressive", but we do suspect he's eaten a few small tetras.
