Please help. I have a rapidly growing ...something! It looks like thick cobwebs and is growing on the bottom sand. I have plants, soil and bog wood in my tank. The fish don’t seem bothered or affected yet!!! Please see pics. All help and suggestions gratefully received

the algae may be caused by phosphates or nitrates being too high. use test kits to find out whether this is the case with the tank, and then treat the water accordingly with either PhosphateMinus or NitrateMinus (both Tetra brand). once you have sorted the quality of the water, maybe consider, unless you already have them, algae eaters, especially ottocinclus. depending on your tank, i reccomend getting a group of ottocinclus as they do so much better in groups and they are well known for being extremely efficient algae eaters and should help get your tank looking cleaner again. if you don’t want to have any algae eaters, maybe try scrubbing off the algae?
