One of my snails has made his way up to the edge where my aquarium meets the hood. He is moving towards the back of my filter media area. Is he ok back there?

I've tried to pull him off, but he is not letting go. I'm scared I'll kill him if I pull too hard. Is there some secret to get him to release off of the tank so I can move him?

I know it's just a snail, but I don't want to see him die over something so stupid. Snails have feelings too. :brows:

He will be fine, I agree. BUT if you need an easy safe way to get a snail unstuck, when you go to pull him off, instead, turn the shell, it will break the suction and he can safely be moved. But I would just let him be, I have some snails that live above the water line in my tanks, lol, always freaks me out but they like it there so I have learned to leave them to their habits. lol

I gave him a little turn and he came off. Thank you so much.
