Help - what kind of snail is this?

I fear i am about to have an infestation :

Looks like a Malaysian trumpet snail. Know to its friends as mts. Don't over feed and you should be fine they are great for keeping the substrate aerated.

Thanks, i dont even have any fish yet!!!! Just finishing my first cycle. I definitely have a pond snail overrun as well. I fear there might be hundreds of those now

This may sound strange but get a couple assassin snails.
