Help with african rope fish

Have a African Rope Fish. It is new to my aquarium. He is about 12 inches long. The tank makes are mostly cichlids. His diet is mostly blood worms. I want to make sure he is going to be happy. Can anyone offer advise on creating a good environment for him?
