Help with fishless cycling

You're doing great.....sorry i didn't get back to you. Seems your answers have come already. Just be careful seeding from that newly established tank. Since it is new, you don't want to take too much away from it or you will throw it into a mini cycle. As for easy low tech plants, there are tons of options. Personally, I would stick with anubias, java fern, anacharis, hornwort, pennywort, wisteria and pretty much any moss. I too am low tech, and these thrive in my tanks.
 
You are very welcome. I'm heading out today to buy more plants myself. I have red cherries and endlers that will be giving birth soon, so I want to make sure there are plenty of hiding spots for the little guys! Plus, plants are great for water quality.
