About 9 days ago I bought a platinum gourami and placed him in quarantine, it was late I fed him and passed out. The next morning I noticed he had white salt granules on him. I went to work picked up some ich treatment and when I got home, it had spread across his body. I think it may be velvet and I am treating with copper safe, heat(82°), salt and I've blacked out the tank plus methylene blue dip once. Is getting worse. Wth is going on. There is nothing out of ordinary about that quarantine tank(it is a five gallon marine land portrait aquarium) ammonia 0ppm nitrates 0ppm nitrites 10 ppm. The ph is 7.0.

Yes I did. Oops. Anyway he's gotten a hell of a lot better. Just kept vigilant with the meds and water changes.
