Hey guys,

I have been so pleased with the amount of quick help here I have decided to make another post.

I have some Platies, Mollies, Guppies, Sterba's Corys and neons.

What would be a good size hospital tank for them if one or more got sick?

Thanks :):fish2:

Any size from 5g to 15g. A 10gal I feel a good middle of the road for smaller fish. With Hospital QT's, since you'll be doing periodic PWC's, you don't want to deal with large volume PWC's. In a 10gal, 5gal is 50% ... easy to manage and easy to dose meds if necessary.

Plus if your treating with heat .... 10gal warms up to 88+ quickly with an appropriate heater ... although with ick your most likely treating your entire main tank.

I think I'll get a 15 gal, aquarium set and leave the filter running in my main 47 gal tank so I can create an insta-cycle hospital tank, well, it's 54 litres so >14 gal. They are about 90 Euros where I live
