I wanna give my fish some cucumber. Is there any specific way to feed it to them. Does it need to be cleaned or boiled. What about the skin?

I've boiled zuchini for a couple min than throw it in the freezer, when it's frozen you throw it in the tank and it will thaw and sink, cucumber needs to be weighted down usually, no skin...no seeds...less mess;)

So it has to be boiled and frozen??

I feed my loaches cucumber, seeds and all, they won't eat the skins, just leave a green circle!!

Im just going to get a fresh slice of cucumber then. See how that works . Thanks

I use fresh cucumber..
The big chunk has been partially eaten by my pleco.. He loves the soft bit where the seeds are.

Great idea. I put a slice of cucumber in with a spoon to weigh it down. I have a baby bn pleco. He hasnt bothered with it yet. Neither has my betta
