The Seachem water treatments work on contact. So, you can use the treated tap water immediately.

Prime will not actually 'remove' the ammonia. It just converts it to a less toxic form temporarily. Your good bacteria will use both forms of ammonia without an issue. Prime will not affect a cycle's progress in any fashion.

It work by reduction process, and is doing it instantly. It doesn't make the Cl atom to dissapear, but make it "not active" instantly.

Dechlorinator can temporarly lower ph, as bleach is a base, and if your tap is PH7 with bleach, and you remove it, it will lower.

Seachem Prime is a dechlorinator combined with BBs (but in this chemical I just think BBs are dead). I use Nutrafin Aqua+ as dechlorinator.
