How important is it to get your tank on a schedule for lights? I don't have a timer yet..and say..like. Saturday I was up at 7 for work..I turned the lights on around 715. Yesterday I hit them around 10..and today I just woke up around 12.. tomorrow I might be up around 8..is it bad to be so irradic like that? I'm planning on a timer..but should I get one. Like ASAP If I can't keep a schedule?

Like everything else in this hobby stability is best. Just get an inexpensive $10 mechanical plugin wall timer from lowes or homedepot. I have 2 grounded double outlet versions. work great

Edit: if you don't have corals yet it's ok to go as is. Timers aren't absolutely necessary but highly recommended.
