Hi fishlovers

As you can see from the title my good friend Welshy and i are wondering how long seeded material will last in the post / or wont it as the case maybe (we know it has to stay wet with the tank water to stay alive) , what do you guys and girls think ?

You can always maintain it by adding a couple drops of ammonia to the water in the storage container.

If you keep adding ammonia in reasonable concentrations, you should be able to keep the bacteria going indefinitely.

I think he's looking for a set of days in case it gets stuck in transit in the mail. I think I've heard it can last a week if it stays wet and doesn't get exposed to extreme temperatures. Has anyone else heard a week?
