How many neon tetras?

I have a 15 gallon, planted but not to the awesomeness of some around here.

It currently houses a male and female betta, I was thinking about moving my neon tetras from my 75gal to the 15, I have 10 tetras.

I think they will seriously add to the appeal of the 15 gallon, the betta shares the same colours as the tetra.

I would hazard a guess that the 15G will still be understocked.... I'm not far off adding 30 or 40 neon tetras to planted 20G.

your bettas dont fight?

I have one male and one female, they don't fight, I didn't assume they would anyway?

Males will always fight other males, males will also fight females at times, I know breeding can cause them to fight, don't know about other times. If you've got a happy pair then that's good, just keep an eye on them

Cheers for the advice, I'll keep an eye on them, if they fight I can easily move the female anyway.

Oh and I think you can move the neons, just watch to be sure the bettas do not pick at them, not that they could catch them.
