How to lower Ph?

How can I lower my Ph to 8.2 or 8.3? I have a fluval filter with a CPR Aeroforce protein skimmer and my Ph is 8.40.

Why do you want to lower it? .10 is fairly insignificant and stability is much more important than a specific number.

I heard a reef aquarium needs to be 8.2 or 8.3

Stability is much more important than a specific number recommendation. If 8.4 is where your tank is at with your regular routine and salt mix, I wouldn't mess with it. Simpler is truly better most of the time.
