How to quarantine hard to care for animals?

How can you quarantine scooter blennies or mandarins? They can't survive in a bare environment. What about shrimp? They can't be in copper. I just had my 210 gallon wiped out from marine velvet and do NOT want to go through that again.

Wouldn't a QT tank with PVC Pipe for hiding spacing be fine?

I know what you mean though, you need live sand for them to feed off of, and over a years worth of tank set up to get it to that point.

I would assume if you need to QT them for a few weeks, pellets on the bottom of a bare tank should be fine. Just make sure they are eating the pellets.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I could do copper when I can and maybe hypo for other or just keep them separate for a month or so?
