I have several wisteria plants in my aquarium and they are growing out of control what is the proper way to trim them. The pet store lady told me to pull them up and trim them where I see roots growing and replant the top parts. This is a pain I've done it once. Is there a easier way? Can I just trim them and leave them the way they are?

You don't need to pull them up to trim them. Just trim them down to the size you want and you can either replant the cut pieces, float them, or compost them if you don't need anymore.

Literally you can take a piece and put it on the surface of the water so it floats. Wisteria grows quite well this way.

Just get scissors and cut it however short you want it and replant the part you cut off. Pulling it up is crazy, that person doesn't know what they're doing

with the way mine are growing, I had to pull mine up and trim them. they are growing so tall that it was blocking the light and curving lol
