Huma's 5g invert/reef build!

As some may know, i acquired a 5g Fluval Chi aquarium prob 8-9 months ago from a gentleman that was packing to move back home out west. I got the tank setup, decor, fluval heater (think its 15w) and 3 fancy goldfish all for the low price pf free. I kept the goldfish till now but seeing as to how im not a goldfish fan at all, i lucked out and found a wonderful lady that works at petco to take them for her tank. My plans are to do a very small coral setup with just inverts. Not sure what inverts or corals yet but that will come soon enough. Tank is currently drained and light/filtration box is cleaned. Im going to empty out the gravel tm night and clean it.

Second photo is of the underside of the filtration box. It houses several leds for lighting. In normal circumstances id say that this lighting isnt sufficient but it only has to penetrate a few inches pf water (may be 3-5 inches to coral) im also going to use the sand from my 125 refugium and some lr rubble as well. Sand will be thoroughly rinsed as needed.

You'd prob. be better off using one of those full spectrum LED light blubs?

Im going to attempt the built in leds for now. Should be able to support midlevel corals atleast. If not, ill figure something out (maybe build a nano fixture)

Just went to the fish store today. Didnt come home with any inverts yet. Want to have the tank up an running for a few weeks before attempting inverts
