Hydra?

So I woke up today to check on my new shrimp this morning, and was terrified to see these things on the glass, are they Hydras? If not, what are they? Am I doing something wrong? I also have noticed a big boom of copepods after adding the shrimp as well, aren't those a good sign? I have no idea since this is my first time to shrimp

it looks to be so... at least from this angle. camera quality is a lil shaky but judging by the tentacle appearance i might say so. of course other input would be helpful lol. Good luck i just got rid of them after treating the tank
