my best description is that it looks like a twig that is transparent in the middle and has some bark.


also, heres a pic of the tank after moving the LR around. Notice the Tonga Branch in there...yay...the last bit they had at my LFS for normal price.

As per your original description, it just looks to be a hollowed out twig often mixed into substrates by accident while they mine it, transport, or while it sits outside.
