I got a 2 gallon drink dispenser jar! I have filled the spigot with silicone just for safety and now must decide on decor and stocking
I am going to dirt it and Im thinking black gravel with some colorednglass mixed in. I will be using some emmersed plants with roots in the water. I would like to have a betta or sparkling gourami probably. Any other suggestions?

I was afraid the spigot would be a potential leak spot long term. I will try to post pics soon. I am figuring it will be a walstad style tank/bowl thing lol

I know I was just picturing the gravel get magically vacuumed while the water drains through it.. Ahhh in a perfect world... I like that idea.. I'd say go betta and keep it nice a dirty!

I have been wanting a betta! I think some shrimp and snails will be in tbe mix as well
