The ballast is mounted to the back of a Canopy with a 10 k bulb allready mounted. THe bulb is about 8 months old. I can say that it is very bright. I simply don't have the need for the MH ligting. It came with PC's that I will use instead. The hanging pendant is 30 1/4 inches by 12 1/2 inches. Was made to fit over a 29 long I think.
