Ich and oto cat

Is it safe to use half a dose of medication with an oto car in an aquarium? I hear your not supposed to use any medication on shrimp or scaleless fish such as an oto cat. Is half a dose ok?

No.get a small tank to use as a quarantine/hospital tank. The copper in the medication will kill shrimp and scaleless fish
