So my pleco has ich,I have read many different methods of treatment I would rather stay away from chemicals bought from the store so what advice do you guys have for raising the heat its been about 82 degrees now and would ya use salt?

55 gal
Ammonia- 0
Nitrites -0
Natrates-<20
Temp 82-83
6 tiger bards
1 firemouth
1 clown pleco

No of the other fish are showing signs of ich oh btw I just bought these fish Sunday if that helps

Also all fish seem to be eating good moving around the tank good but the pleco hides alot and I don't see him eat but see him move around the rocks now and then.but isn't that normal for a pleco during the day and being in a new tank?

Turn the heat up to 86 or 87 degrees this will get rid of the ich, also make sure you aerate the tank leave it that way for a couple of weeks.
