ID please

Can anyone id this please? It just popped up and I really like it, I just want to make sure it's not anything bad.

Its appearance is kind of waxy and slightly see through. Looks also like it kind of grows on a stem and leafs out.

it could be rhodymenia holmesii. it's a red macro algae. i don't think it will get out of hand. you don't see many folks having trouble with the red macros.
 
Thank you! can you tell me anything more about it? i googles the word and found similar images, but can't really seem to find much information. Do you know if its bad, how you get it etc.?

it's not bad. just another ocean plant. how you can tell if it's bad is if you see a lot of folks having trouble with it. like bryopsis for example. how you get it is by introducing it. that coral you bought had some of it on the rock, and now in the right environment, it's growing.
