Noticed this in my saltwater tank. ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1437347282.083885.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1437347298.599675.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1437347315.965903.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1437347335.882934.jpg

It appears that the mouth section is buried out of a hole in live rock. It opens and closes flat. The portion that open and closes is semi transparent. The long tentacles are at the other end coming out of the rock. The tentacles are long and skinny moving like crazy.

Any one know what this is?
Thanks.

Might be a flame scallop. They are hard to take care of. Most of them tend to die. If you want it to keep it alive, make sure you feed it phytoplankton and zooplankton multiple times a week.

Doesn't resemble a flame scallop .
I would assume this finding is something beneficial?
