Hey guys I made a stand using 2x4's as something for the tanks to sit on and it is supported by cinder blocks.
I noticed that all of the tanks sit completely flush with the 2x4 frame. I used slightly flexible metal brackets so that when filled the weight will straighten everything out.
As of now, the middle of the 55 gallons frame is about a tenth of an inch above the cinder block. The frame on the 40 sits properly on the cinderblock but the tanks right side is about a tenth of an inch above the frame. The rest sits well. On the 20 long I am having the same problem as the 40. Is this safe to fill or should I find a way to make them flush before filling? I was banking in water weight to flush the 2x4s, is that okay?
