Hey, I have a 55g community tank and I was wondering if you guys think it is overcrowded or if I could get away with 3 yoyo loaches. Right now I have
a dalmation molly
a rainbow shark
4 zebra danio
3 neon tetra
6 tiger barb
4 kuhli loach
a rainbow platy
and an orange swordtail

The tiger barb and rainbow shark are not aggressive i noticed. The shark keeps to himself and I honestly never seen him chase another fish. The barb are calm most of the time, besides occasional chasing within the group but its nothing. So aggression isn't an issue with the loach. So do you guys think I could get the 3 yoyo loach or is it full?

You only have 4 bottom dwellers now. If I were you I would up the neons to around 8 and the danios to around 6, then 5 yoyos then that is it.

Ok sounds good, would I be safe buying 4 of the yoyos, and why would you recommend more tetras and danios? Will they school better?

A school is at least 6 fish, preferably 8-10 if you really want to see the best behavior of the fish. 3 is not really enough of a school.
