Is my fish pregnant? Spawning?

The male is constantly chasing the female around the tank. I have a picture so you can see the stomach of the female. The stomach has been growing for over a month now and just keeps getting bigger like it's going to explode. It is very active and eats.

Is it pregnant? Is this spawning behavior?

Could it be dropsy?

any thoughts about why the belly is sooo big? It's been getting larger and larger for the past month. Looks like it's about to burst! It seems healthy and active and eats so that is why I thought it might be pregnant or with eggs.
