Aquarium Advice Freak
Okay well I decided to buy a Rena 300 Air Pump off of Ebay (the price was right; $30.29 new incl shipping..I got lucky)
Okay well I'm new to aerating a tank so I have some questions.
Although the Rena has one outlet, I plan on using it for my 55 Gallon and my 10 gallon QT (running one device each). Is this okay? It's rated for up to a 75 gallon tank so I assume it is.
Now my questions..
In order to do this, what will I need?
From doing minimal research I've figured that I would need:
-Durable Tubing (Any recommendations?)
-1 Penn Plax Lok-Tite 2 1/2 Way Brass Gang Valve (This is so I can distribute lets say 75% pressure to the 55 and 25% to the 10gal, right? And no need for the "T" valve @ the beginning with this?)
-2 Penn Plax Check Valves / Air Filter
-Air Stone/Bubble Disk/Bubble Wall etc...
Can anyone recommend the suction cups to keep the tubing in check or will they just create more hassle?
Please let me know and TIA
-Dan
