am toying with the option of using an led panel to light my nano tank. I like the idea of not having to change out my bulbs each year, or even more then that, and also my hood gets quite hot for the bulbs that are currently in there. It is only a small tank with a footprint of 12"x12" so I wont need a ton of panels.

I have found these lights on ebay and I am wondering if the would be good for a 15g nano?

Thanks for the info, I really only started checking out the led lights last night so any info you could shed on the subject would be great, also if you know of any other DIY for led lighting I would be more than interested to hear them.
