I'm down to two fish. My favorite red gourami just died for no reason at all. :banghead:
The algae is god awful. The algae tablets I got didn't help much.
Can someone please help me trouble shoot this tank.

What are your water parameters? Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, pH, Temp

How long are your lights on? Is the tank near a window?

What sort of filter are you using?

Answer these and I may be able to help :)

Looking at your post history your not really staying on task. Life happens and perhaps you can't focus on the tank as much as needed right now. It can take a few months to set up and cycle and then introduce fish gradually. All the while testing the water and tweaking until it is somewhat stable and you can step back a bit. If you aren't enjoying it, perhaps set it aside until there is a time where things are a little less hectic and you can give this hobby more of your valuable time and attention.

I'm also a newbie I've made mistakes. Please don't listen to people that say give up.
Answer the questions they asked they have been at it longer. Talk to the local fish store, keep asking questions here. It will come together.
You actually don't know how old or healthy those fish were unless you bought them as babies.
