Jebo 835 pump

I have a jebo835 aquarium filter and the primer button keeps getting stuck and I'll have to unplug it pop it open push the button out then try it again and again till I finally gave up on it? So my question is can i use wd-40 or some type of lubricant to apply around the button so when I prime it it pops back up in case I have to prime it again?

I wouldn't use WD40 as it is a petroleum product and may get in the water . Use a food safe silicone spray or lube .

Like pam or something or can I rub some vegetable oil around the primer button?

Not exactly , but I guess vegie oil would work . Just a very little though .
