Looking for some advice. I have the tank stocked with 6 Discus and as these fish like really clean water I dont believe the internal filter is good enough long term. I was therefore going to add an external filter and cut the the small holes at the top of the tank for the inlet and outlet pipes. My main query is where should I put the inlet and outlet pipes in the tank, should I put them at the same area as the internal one, or go to the other side of the tank. I also have air stone in tank so no probs with aerogation etc. Thanks in advance for what is probably a daft question.

I put mine I'm the same
Place the external was in but I'm rink Iv making a y shaped spray bar for the corner but unsure if the filters flow rate will have enough push to manage it :s
