I have an acrylic 125 flat back hex, and I want to put new lights on. The LED's I have now are TruLumen, and they aren't functioning properly. So, I put a 36" Finnex Planted Plus. But there were three 48" and two 12" TruLumen, and I'm not sure how to calculate how much light I need. The Finnex is much wider than the TruLumens, so I don't think I need three of the Finnex to replace them. The tank is 30 inches deep, 60 inches long and 18 inches wide. And I love the Finnex Planted Plus, but the blue fish in my tank aren't nearly as blue under it. Should I (could I) put the Finnex Fugeray Original or MonsterRay RBG to bring out the blues, and still give my plants what they need? Thanks for any input.
