lighting upgrade?

While I know a lot about lighting for offices and warehouses from 30+ years in the bus, I am new to SW so I can't say for certain. I do know that Mr._X has done a ton of research and if I remember right, he told me that with a 6 lamp T5HO and the right lamps you could keep anything you wanted. I would look him up and ask.

In my opinion a good 6 bulb fixture with good bulbs would be sufficient.

Found this on craigslist. Light looks familar. He paid $700 WOW. Well is a pic at least of what the light can do.

I never believe anyone who says "I paid" on CL. LOL They inflate in hopes that no one will check and they can get a higher price for the one they are selling used.

I agree I just thought it was interesting to see him saying $700 when we see $250.

I didn't go with the ebay light, was too wide in the end for my tank. I did go with the fishneedit 4 bulb t5 though, just waiting on delivery.

Same here Carey it ended up being to wide for my tank. I'm talking myself into leds

LOL. I was very interested in leds myself but the vast amount of them on the market and the prices kinda scared me away. I will most likely wait until they are a bit more mainstream and proven before i make the plunge. For my needs right now a 4 bulb t5 should be ok so I'm not too too worried.
