What would be a good lighting system for a 55, looking for different lighting setting also like the night time viewing.

If its just fish marineland single bright LEDs aren't bad for the price. I personally like the look of T5s though. I have a dual bulb over my 46 with an actinic and a daylight.

Do you have a price range cause you can get some really cool effects but they'll cost you lol
