Hi, I'm assuming that you are asking about Excel from Seachem. This is not liquid CO2, but definitely provides a source of Carbon and reduced Iron to the plants. Will never be as effective as the CO2 (gas), but that does not mean that is not a good product.
In few words, the product works good, use the recommended amount (per the directions at the bottle) and your plants will improve. Also the product helps reducing algae.
Some people experienced some plants "melting" with the use of excel, specially some Vals, Anacharis .
